Solid Wood Flooring

This is comprised of 100% wood nothing else. The boards are made from a piece of solid wood, cut down to size, which vary in cut-style, which affects the appearance in terms grain and grade. Solid wood flooring is seen as a great way to give your home a warm, characterful and comforting feel.

Parquet Flooring

Parquet or Herringbone as its more commonly known has become very fashionable over the years and now being very on trend, demand has never been so high. One Flooring supply a beautiful collection of wooden parquet in an array of colours and sizes to suit your requirements. We also supply a range of floors in Chevron block and Versailles panels, basket & brick weave.

Laminate & LVT Flooring

Laminate flooring looks just like real wood, but is reproduction of the real thing, but the latest manufacturing techniques mean that it’s tough, scratch resistant and long lasting. It’s also very affordable compared to an all-wood product. Again these can be fitted over UFH systems should it be required.

Engineered Wood Flooring

Clients can be misled by the word ‘engineered’ and therefore believe that it is a man made type of flooring i.e. Laminate. However, engineered hardwood flooring is made up of a number wood layers. The top surface of the flooring plank contains a layer of 100% real hardwood and the rest of the plank is made up of base layers that vary, but are usually made up of plywood, softwood cores, HDF or even cross bonded finger jointed wood. Engineered hardwood flooring is extremely popular due to being more stable and versatile, allowing it to be floated, glued or pinned if the situation allows it, being a little more durable & forgiving than solid wood floors. Engineered floors have the advantage that they can be fitted over Under Floor Heating systems, where as historically solid wood floors can’t.
